The registration fee entitles participants to the following:

• Access to all scientific sessions and poster viewing (including Pre-Congress Meeting for those accepted, see below)
• Congress kit
• Coffee breaks, box lunch on 25 and 26 September, 2 buffet dinners (24 and 25 September).

The Gala dinner, on 26 September, and the excursion to the temples, on 25 September, are not included in the fee (see the costs below). If you wish to attend the dinner and/or the excursion, please select them during the payment procedure. If you select the Gala dinner, your receipt will state "registration fee including lunches and dinners".

The early bird discount applies to payments received until 16 June 2025. Registrations will remain open until 14 July 2025 at the regular price.
N.B. Payments must be received within each deadline indicated (if you are paying by bank transfer or through your administration, please ensure that it is initiated in due time).

Payment is possible by credit card or bank transfer. You must complete the registration process, including selecting the payment method and providing all the required information. This step is mandatory to finalize your registration. Further details about the payment procedure is available through your personal myABCD2025 area.

Invoices or receipts (for VAT exempt payments) will be issued and sent to participants after payment (except for PA invoice).

FOR ABCD MEMBERS

After payment, ABCD will issue a receipt indicating VAT exemption under Article 4 of DPR 633/72, addressed to the participant. ABCD members cannot request an invoice. Payments for congress registrations by members, as well as membership fees, are considered part of the association's core activities and are therefore not subject to VAT. Membership requires registration with ABCD and payment of the membership fee, which can be made simultaneously with the congress participation fee. If a receipt addressed to your organization is required, you must explicitly request it by contacting ABCD at segreteria@abcd-it.org or webmaster@abcd-it.org.

FOR OTHER PARTICIPANTS – INDIVIDUALS OR "PRIVATE" LEGAL ENTITIES

Before processing the payment, please determine wheter you have specific billing requirements. Please decide to whom your registration costs must be billed to and make sure that you have all the required information: address, VAT number or fiscal code (codice fiscale, for Italians only), etc.

After payment, ABCD issues an electronic invoice based on the payment form details. ABCD will be unable to modify the invoice should the details provided be incorrect or outdated.

FOR OTHER PARTICIPANTS – PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION – PA INVOICE

In the registration process, you have to select the PA invoice option and provide the following information:

• IPA/Unique Code
• Company Name
• VAT Number
• Tax Code
• Address
• ZIP Code
• City
• Province

ABCD will issue an electronic invoice based on the payment form details. ABCD will be unable to modify the invoice should the details provided be incorrect or outdated.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations with a refund request must be sent by e-mail to the secretariat and must be accompanied by a valid justification. Refunds will be decided case by case by the organising secretariat. If accepted, cancellations by 14 July 2025 will be refunded fully minus an administrative charge of 30 EUR; no refunds will be provided after 14 July 2025.

Abstracts are accepted exclusively through this website, through your personal myABCD2025 area, you will need to have an account to have access to the latter.

The abstract submission deadline is 30 June 2025. The organisers will then review the received abstracts for oral or poster presentations. All submitted abstracts will be discarded if payment is not received by 14 July 2025.

Only registered participants can submit an abstract and each registered participant may submit a maximum of one abstract. Abstracts should be submitted by the presenting author only.

Abstract format

Title
The title must start in uppercase and continue in lowercase, except for conventional terms (ATP, DNA, NFκB, etc). Example:

Authorship
If more than one author (but only in that case), underline your name (the presenting author, in whatever position you appear in the author list) and use commas to separate the author names; do not use 'and' before the last author. Write your name and surname in full; for any other authors use initial(s) for the first name(s) followed by the surname. If more than one affiliation (but only in that case), use sequential superscript numbers to identify each institution. Example:

Keep the abstract text to within 2000 characters, spaces included (this is roughly equivalent to 250 words).

The Congress registration fee (see Registration & Costs) covers the attendance of the Pre-Congress Meeting for those accepted; dinner on Tuesday, 23 September, and box lunch on Wednesday, 24 September, are also included. To apply, you must be a post-doc or a Ph.D. student and be under 35 years of age at the start of the congress. You must indicate your intention to participate during the registration procedure.
